The Manufacturing Skill Institute (MSI), as part of the workforce division of the Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA), announced today that it has received a contract with the Office of Apprenticeship (OA) within the Department of Labors’ (DOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA)
VMA Safety Awards were presented to forty-nine contractors during an awards ceremony at the 17th annual Virginia Environmental Health and Safety (VEHS) Conference on September 18.
DSS was given this honor for its outstanding support of safety excellence and safety training provided to manufacturers and craft brewers in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as through MSI’s national academic partner network.
MSI Fellow awards are presented to those individuals who have been active in workforce development for manufacturing, actively supports one or more MSI related credentials or services and has attained distinction in manufacturing related disciplines.
