Dean Dodson was a student in the August 2018 Wilson Workforce & Rehabilitation Center’s Manufacturing Technology Training class. He saw one of the social media posts for the Hershey Manufacturing Boot camp last spring and contacted the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board directly. He attended James Hall’s pre-assessment prep class, passed the assessment, and was a successful participant in the June 2019 boot camp. He has continued to work at Hershey through System One staffing since last June.
On February 10, along with 14 other boot campers, Dean was hired directly by Hershey and registered into their Industrial Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship program.
Dean was delighted that Wilson Workforce & Rehabilitation Center’s James Hall and Steve Sweeney joined us in recognizing his successful entry into what can be a fantastic career with one of the best employers in the region.
