This years Workforce Solutions Symposium featured Catherine Conlon, a recent graduate from Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center's Manufacturing Technology Training (MTT) program, a Division of the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, along with her instructor, Steve Sweeney, and Debby Hopkins from the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board.
DSS was given this honor for its outstanding support of safety excellence and safety training provided to manufacturers and craft brewers in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as through MSI’s national academic partner network.
MSI Fellow awards are presented to those individuals who have been active in workforce development for manufacturing, actively supports one or more MSI related credentials or services and has attained distinction in manufacturing related disciplines.
The Manufacturing Skills Institute is proud to announce Dr. Joe Ashley, of the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired, as its first MSI Fellow award recipient during the annual Workforce Symposium in Williamsburg, VA on November 13, 2018.
