A flexible online curriculum covering the full spectrum of industrial energy systems—from boilers, steam, and HVAC to compressed air, refrigeration, electrical generation, and continuous improvement.
The Manufacturing Skills Institute offers 20 online energy management modules covering the equipment, systems, and management practices that drive industrial energy performance. Each module is approximately one hour long, self-paced, and largely built on plant-operations content developed and continuously updated by DuPont Safety Solutions (now DSS+), MSI’s longtime curriculum partner.
The program is intentionally modular. You can assign individual courses to specific employees, bundle modules by job role, or work with MSI to package a subset into a stackable Energy Certificate credential.
Three of the 20 modules, Lean to Green Metrics, Total Productive/Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, and The Energy Kaizen, also serve as the coursework component of MSI’s Certified Industrial Energy Auditor (CIEA) credential but are available as standalone modules independent of the CIEA.
